Terms of Service

1. Overview & Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your use of the designbanners.co.uk website and any orders placed for bespoke graphic design, digital artwork proofs, and commercial banner printing. By submitting a brief or completing an online order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Free Graphic Design & Proof Approval Policy

We provide free bespoke graphic design with every order. When you submit your brief, our design team produces an electronic PDF proof within 24 hours.

• Unlimited Free Revisions: You may request reasonable text, layout, and colour changes without additional charge.
• Zero Upfront Payment Risk: For brief-first orders, you do not pay until you are 100% happy and approve your proof for print.
• Final Approval: Production begins only once written approval (email confirmation or electronic approval) is received. Once approved and sent to print, changes cannot be made.

3. Printing Specifications & Material Tolerance

All physical banners are manufactured to commercial standards:

• Materials: 500gsm PVC Vinyl, 370gsm Mesh PVC, 510gsm Blockout PVC, or 110gsm Fabric Flags as specified in your order.
• Finishing: Standard finishing includes heat-welded reinforced perimeter hems and solid brass/nickel eyelets spaced approximately every 500mm.
• Dimensions Tolerance: Due to thermal welding and material tension during wide-format printing, a minor manufacturing tolerance of ±1.5% may occur.
• Colour Matching: While we use calibrated CMYK wide-format presses, colours displayed on backlit RGB screens (phones, monitors) may vary slightly from printed CMYK inks on outdoor PVC substrate.

4. Turnaround Times & UK Delivery

Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours from final proof approval to dispatch. Delivery is handled via reputable UK tracked couriers (DPD, Royal Mail, DHL).

• Free Delivery: Orders with a subtotal over £50 include free standard tracked UK delivery.
• Courier Delays: While 98% of parcels arrive on schedule, we are not liable for courier delays caused by extreme weather, customs checks, or transit disruptions outside our direct control.

5. Cancellation, Returns & Print Guarantee

• Design Stage Cancellation: You can cancel your brief at any point prior to print approval without incurring any cost.
• Custom Print Goods: As each printed banner is custom-made to your bespoke specifications, printed goods cannot be returned under statutory cooling-off periods once manufactured.
• Damaged / Defective Goods: If your banner arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, notify us within 48 hours with photographic evidence. We will reprint and dispatch a replacement immediately free of charge.

6. Intellectual Property & Customer Content

You warrant that you have full legal right and authorization to use any trademarks, logos, photographs, and text supplied to us for inclusion in your banner. You agree to indemnify Design Banners UK against any third-party copyright claims arising from customer-provided artwork.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
